Diet: Omnivorous; primarily feeds on algae, plant matter, and small invertebrates.

Preferred Water Parameters: pH 8.0-9.0, Temperature 75-82°F
Minimum Tank Size: 100 gallons
Acceptable Tank Mates: Other large, peaceful to moderately aggressive Tanganyikan cichlids. Provide ample space for swimming and territories with rocks and hiding spots. Avoid keeping with overly aggressive species.
