Diet: Carnivorous; primarily feeds on small invertebrates, zooplankton, and crustaceans.
Average Adult Size: 4-5 inches
Preferred Water Parameters: pH 8.0-9.0, Temperature 75-80°F
Minimum Tank Size: 40 gallons
Acceptable Tank Mates: Other peaceful Tanganyikan cichlids, small to medium-sized fish that prefer similar water conditions. Avoid aggressive species and ensure plenty of hiding places.
