Diet: Omnivorous; feeds on algae, plant matter, and small invertebrates.
Average Adult Size: 8-10 inches
Preferred Water Parameters: pH 7.0-8.0, Temperature 75-82°F
Minimum Tank Size: 75 gallons
Acceptable Tank Mates: Other peaceful to moderately aggressive cichlids. Provide a well-structured tank with plenty of hiding spots and open swimming areas. Avoid keeping with overly aggressive species.
